Job Description

We are seeking a Software Engineering - Application Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Epic EHR implementation and support across Inpatient modules, including OpTime, Orders, and HIM and a proven ability to implement, build, maintain, and optimize Epic integration systems while partnering with clinical leaders to translate business needs into EMR functionality.

Responsibilities:

• Lead implementation, build, maintenance, and optimization of Epic integration systems.
• Apply 5+ years of Healthcare and EHR experience with a focus on Epic.
• Deliver hands-on implementation for Inpatient modules including OpTime and Orders.
• Collaborate with clinical leaders to translate operational needs into EMR functionality and workflows.
• Contribute to EHR implementation plans, including scope and timelines.
• Work with clinics to identify workflow gaps and define mutually agreeable solutions.
• Design, build, test, and implement Epic integration application systems and related interfaces.
• Collaborate with clinicians to create or adapt written protocols.
• Troubleshoot Epic-related issues and provide effective resolutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Epic Inpatient Certification.
• Healthcare industry experience, including direct work with Doctors and RNs.
• 5+ years of Epic experience with Inpatient, OpTime, and HIM (5 years in each).
• Strong understanding of Inpatient workflows, clinical operations, and IT strategy.
• Hands-on experience with Epic interfaces and related integrations.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and discretion with sensitive and confidential information.
• Ability to build effective relationships with clients, team members, managers, and vendors.

Preferred Skills:

• Ambulatory and Cadence experience.
• Epic Security exposure.
• Clinical background as RN or Physician.

Education & Work Authorization

• Epic Certification required.
• Must be located within the United States.

• Work location: Remote.
• Remote role. No onsite requirement.
