    Job Description

    The Clinical Nurse RN provides safe, compassionate nursing care in Behavioral Health. This role assesses patient needs, develops and implements individualized care plans, and evaluates outcomes using the nursing process. The RN collaborates with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams while practicing within the Missouri Nurse Practice Act and organizational and regulatory standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assess patients and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care

    • Provide evidence-based nursing care based on patient needs and clinical setting

    • Collaborate with patients, families, providers, and interdisciplinary teams

    • Maintain professional nursing standards and clinical competency

    • Demonstrate knowledge and skills specific to the assigned clinical area

    • Promote quality improvement, patient and staff safety, and culturally responsive care

    • Provide compassionate, respectful, and patient-centered service

    • Participate in education, committees, program evaluation, research, and student supervision as appropriate

    • Maintain compliance with applicable laws, regulations, organizational policies, and the Missouri Nurse Practice Act

    Minimum Requirements

    • Graduation from an accredited nursing program

    • Current Missouri license as a Registered Nurse

    • Current BCLS

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent in a specific specialty

    • RN Specialty Certification
