Inpatient Psychiatry opportunity in Hartford, Connecticut

Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group seeks a full-time, board certified/board eligible, adult or general psychiatrist to join our expanding behavioral health team at Mount Sinai and Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Centers inpatient facilities.

This is a wonderful opportunity to be part of a collaborative inpatient psychiatry group providing general psychiatric services for our inpatient unit. This care unit is fully staffed with an occupational and group therapists, social work support for individual therapy and case management, and a dedicated insurance utilization review team.

Join a collaborative and dynamic regional psychiatry team providing adult psychiatric services for our 12-bed inpatient unit. We are fully staffed with occupational and group therapists, social workers who support individual therapy and case management, and a dedicated insurance utilization review team. You will also have regular medical and surgical support for any non-psychiatric issues, including routine H&P.

The successful candidate will be a CT-licensed, BC/BE Psychiatrist. Experience is preferred, but recent graduates with an interest in inpatient psychiatric care will also be considered. Spanish-speaking candidates are encouraged to apply.

In this full-time role, youll be part of a dynamic team with credentialing at both Mount Sinai and Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center. Our affiliation with the Quinnipiac University Frank H. Netter School of Medicine offers you a faculty appointment and opportunities to supervise and teach medical students rotating through the unit during their internships.
