Injection Molding Assistant

• Please Note:

This job is an onsite position. Remote Work or Work From Home is not possible for this position. (Amount of Travel Required: No outside travel is required, except for commuting to and from the manufacturing facility.)

POSITION SUMMARY:

To produce quality products by injection molding.

To ensure that the molding department is efficient by following molding procedures.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operates molding machines, including set-ups and documentation.
• Operates production equipment as necessary.
• Performs production checks:

a) Checks the first parts coming out of the mold.

b) Continues to check parts coming out of the mold.

• Responsible for trimming parts and cutting sprues.
• Completes documentation necessary for quality control.
• Troubleshoots molding problems.
• Responsible for mold maintenance when assigned.
• Visually inspects parts as they are produced from molding machines.
• Responsible for making quality products.
• Special duties as assigned by the Group Leader.
• Follows company policy.
