About the Role
The primary responsibility of this position is to work as part of the Ingredient Room team to meet the daily production requirements for all areas of the department. Weigh, measure, prep, and package products accurately for production. Assist with vendor deliveries, rotate and store products correctly. Assist with weekly and monthly inventory processes.
What You''ll Do
Secure products;
Weigh or measure products according to recipe;
Package and label products;
Move products to proper storage or transportation area;
Clean and maintain equipment and workspaces.
Provide training and guidance to student employees in the production of food.
Ensure that student employees maintain standards of safety and sanitation in food handling.
Maintain accurate records of recipes prepared each day;
Issue ingredients used to proper departments;
Assist with periodic inventory as assigned.
Assist in other areas of the operation as necessary
