Client's Continuous Technology Modernization Simplification (CTMS) program across
Application, Infrastructure, and AI Enablement workstreams. This role will oversee end-to-end planning and execution of modernization initiatives, coordinate cross-functional technical and business teams, and ensure alignment with the Client's architectural, financial, and operational objectives.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities / Workload
Technology Modernization Delivery
- Lead end-to-end planning and execution of technology modernization initiatives across Application, Infrastructure, and AI Enablement workstreams.
- Drive project schedules, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and execution readiness.
- Coordinate cross-functional technical and business teams, including architects, engineers, product managers, SMEs, vendors, and MSPs.
- Facilitate due diligence, discovery, design, architecture, and technical review sessions.
- Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, assumptions, and opportunities, ensuring appropriate escalation and resolution.
- Review and approve solution documentation, project deliverables, and technical/business artifacts.
- Coordinate vendors and MSPs, including SOW execution and milestone-based performance oversight.
- Support business case development and ensure modernization initiatives align with the Client's business, financial, architectural, and operational objectives.
- Maintain clear communication across stakeholders and provide regular project status updates.
- Ensure multiple CTMS workstreams remain synchronized and progress toward execution readiness.
- Establish and maintain consistent governance, delivery practices, reporting, and decision-making processes.
Required Skills / Attributes
- Strong end-to-end project delivery experience, including planning, execution, risk management, and governance.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in project delivery, program management, technology delivery, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience managing multi-domain technology modernization initiatives.
- Experience with application rationalization, cloud migration, infrastructure modernization, decommissioning, and platform consolidation.
- Strong technical fluency with the ability to collaborate with architects, engineers, product managers, and technical SMEs.
- Exceptional written, verbal, communication, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-ready language.
- Proven vendor and MSP management experience, including SOW execution and milestone-based performance oversight.
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence stakeholders, build alignment, and drive decision-making.
- Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to manage multiple simultaneous initiatives, priorities, risks, and dependencies.
- Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, and escalation skills.
Desired Skills / Attributes
Project Delivery & Technology Modernization
- PMP certification.
- Agile delivery credentials such as PMI-ACP, CSM, SAFe Agilist, or Leading SAFe.
- Cloud certifications or experience with Azure and/or AWS.
- Experience supporting cloud migration and platform modernization initiatives.
- Experience with application modernization, infrastructure transformation, platform consolidation, and technology decommissioning.
- Strong governance and program reporting experience.
- Experience supporting business case development and execution-readiness activities.
- Ability to facilitate technical and business decision-making across complex modernization programs.
Education Requirement
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
