Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Cyber Recovery & Disaster Recovery Infrastructure Specialist to support enterprise cybersecurity incident recovery, disaster recovery planning, and infrastructure restoration initiatives.
This resource will play a key role in supporting the recovery of critical IT systems and infrastructure following cybersecurity incidents, outages, or other disruptive events. The ideal candidate will have experience with cyber incident recovery, disaster recovery strategies, infrastructure security, and hands-on technical support in complex enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support cyber incident recovery efforts, including the restoration of compromised or impacted IT infrastructure.
• Execute and support disaster recovery (DR) plans, procedures, and recovery operations.
• Assist with infrastructure recovery following cybersecurity incidents, system outages, and operational disruptions.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, network, and application teams to coordinate recovery activities.
• Support the development, testing, and maintenance of disaster recovery procedures and recovery documentation.
• Evaluate infrastructure environments to identify recovery risks, vulnerabilities, and potential points of failure.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting during incident response and recovery efforts.
• Assist with restoring servers, systems, applications, and infrastructure services to operational status.
• Support cyber resilience initiatives and help improve enterprise recovery capabilities.
• Maintain technical documentation, recovery procedures, and incident-related records.
• Ensure recovery activities align with enterprise security policies, compliance requirements, and infrastructure standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Experience supporting cyber incident recovery and infrastructure restoration.
• Strong understanding of disaster recovery (DR) planning, testing, and execution.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity architecture and enterprise infrastructure security.
• Experience providing technical support and troubleshooting within enterprise IT environments.
• Understanding of incident response processes and recovery procedures.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional cybersecurity and infrastructure teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience supporting enterprise cyber recovery or disaster recovery programs.
• Familiarity with business continuity planning (BCP) and operational resilience.
• Knowledge of server, network, storage, and data recovery technologies.
• Experience with backup and recovery solutions.
• Familiarity with security incident management and remediation processes.
• Relevant cybersecurity, infrastructure, or disaster recovery certifications are a plus.
