What You Will Do
- Design, implement, and maintain reliable infrastructure solutions using AWS and Ruby on Rails.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance and reliability.
- Monitor system health and performance metrics, proactively addressing issues to ensure uptime.
- Develop automation scripts and workflows using GitHub Actions to streamline deployment processes.
- Optimize database performance and management with MySQL, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
- Participate in on-call rotations to support infrastructure reliability and incident response.
Ideal Candidate Background
- 4+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in Ruby on Rails and AWS services, with a strong understanding of cloud architecture.
- Experience with MySQL database management and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, particularly using GitHub Actions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes.
- Previous experience in a marketplace or e-commerce environment.
