Description

A services organization in New Jersey is actively seeking a new Infrastructure Project Manager to join their team in Newark.

About the Opportunity:

Schedule: Monday to Friday
Hours: Standard business
Setting: Hybrid (at least 3 days a week onsite)

Responsibilities:

Manage multiple capital projects through design, review, construction, implementation, and closeout phases
Coordinate technical design reviews for IT, communications, electrical, and network components
Facilitate review cycles by consolidating feedback and tracking issue resolution
Serve as a liaison among technical teams, stakeholders, vendors, and construction partners
Administer the project portfolio management tool, including user setup, permissions, training, and intake workflows

Qualifications:

Minimum of 10 years of experience managing large, complex infrastructure or technology projects
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related technical discipline
Experience with plan review processes and construction documentation workflows
Strong experience coordinating technical review cycles with engineering and IT subject matter experts
Experience reviewing network diagrams, schedules, shop drawings, RFIs, and specifications
Experience with AutoCAD and CSI-format documents
Experience with Planview or another project portfolio management tool
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and MS Visio

Desired Skills:

RCDD certification
PMP or equivalent project management certification
Familiarity with NJDCA permitting processes
