    Description

Build what matters—safely, on schedule, and on budget

Imagine joining a civil team where your command of documentation, quantities, and schedules keeps projects hitting milestones and owners informed. As our Infrastructure Project Controls Engineer, you’ll translate plans into progress—linking field operations with project management so cost, quality, and time all align.

    Your mission

Be the operational bridge: drive clarity before work starts, maintain momentum in the field, and ensure a clean finish at closeout.

    How you’ll deliver

    • Front-load projects with complete RFIs, submittals, subcontract agreements, and preconstruction packages for PM review.
    • Own version control and access: keep plan sets current; maintain drawing logs, job files, and digital repositories.
    • Support preconstruction turnover, procurement roadmaps, and contract analysis.
    • Source and level vendor/subcontractor quotations; organize scopes and pricing.
    • Quantify and measure: track production, cost codes, and performance in HCSS/HeavyJob and Excel.
    • Prepare monthly pay estimates; verify installed quantities; reconcile and review tickets.
    • Protect accuracy: sustain redlines, as-builts, delay records, and quantity adjustments throughout execution.
    • Validate in the field: verify quantities, collect data, and assist field crews.
    • Plan the work: produce look-ahead schedules with Superintendents linked to project budgets; keep the master schedule aligned with real progress and milestone shifts.
    • Clear the path: coordinate surveys, permits, utility locates, inspections, deliveries, and subcontractor activities.
    • Resolve issues: work through drawing conflicts, materials concerns, and documentation needs alongside field teams.
    • Procure correctly: place material orders with proper job codes and quantities; ensure delivery tickets and spec compliance; maintain certification and material logs; coordinate inventory.
    • Serve as primary vendor contact and secondary support for sub coordination.
    • Document everything: production sheets, meeting notes, schedule updates, and revision/change logs; track materials from PO to installation.
    • Keep stakeholders informed through email and project portals (owners, inspectors, designers).
    • Navigate municipal requirements: traffic control plans, ROW permits, SWPPP, and related documentation.
    • Finish strong: deliver closeout packages with final quantities, as-builts, warranties, and subcontractor documentation; manage punch list tracking to completion.
    • Operate within an EOS cadence—contribute to Rocks, Scorecards, D10s, and required project reporting.
    • Pitch in with other duties as assigned to achieve project goals.
