We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Program Manager to lead and oversee critical IT initiatives within our enterprise infrastructure portfolio. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in IT program and project management, infrastructure technologies, cloud platforms, cybersecurity alignment, and governance frameworks.
This role is responsible for driving successful execution by coordinating cross-functional teams, managing timelines, budgets, and resources, and ensuring all program activities are aligned with organizational objectives and technical standards.
Oversee and manage infrastructure programs and projects, ensuring alignment with business and IT strategic objectives.
Drive infrastructure programs and projects across areas such as cloud platforms, networking, and digital employee experience, ensuring solutions align with organizational needs and enhance overall IT service delivery.
Define program and project scope, goals, objectives, and deliverables in partnership with senior management and key stakeholders.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, resource allocations, and KPIs.
Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure timely delivery of project components.
Manage the RFP process, including issuing bids, evaluating proposals, and selecting vendors or solutions.
Partner with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to build, test, and implement infrastructure deliverables.
Proactively identify risks, issues, and dependencies, developing and executing mitigation strategies.
Monitor project progress and resolve challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure compliance with IT governance frameworks, regulations, standards, cybersecurity requirements, and data protection protocols.
Oversee and manage program and project budgets, ensuring financial alignment and cost effectiveness.
Track and control expenditures to remain within established budget constraints.
Provide consistent and transparent communication to stakeholders, delivering updates on project status, risks, issues, and achievements.
Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external partners to support collaboration and alignment.
Conduct regular project reviews and effectively manage stakeholder expectations.
Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and best practices to enhance delivery effectiveness.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT project management, with a focus on infrastructure projects.
PMP, PgMP, or equivalent project/program management certification.
Strong technical background across core infrastructure domains, including networking, cloud services, servers, storage, virtualization, and security.
Proven track record of successfully delivering complex infrastructure projects on time and within budget.
Demonstrated expertise in infrastructure design and planning, server and operating systems management, network infrastructure and protocols, network virtualization, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, network security, monitoring and performance optimization, and vendor management.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with the capacity to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations, identify solutions, and drive successful outcomes.
Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall and project management tools such as MS Project and Azure DevOps.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Thorough understanding of project management phases, techniques, and tools, including:
Initiation
Planning: definition, scope, and requirements
Execution & Control: scope, work plans, resources, deliverables, QA, transition planning, etc.
Closure: completion and assessment
Strong project management skills including:
Customer satisfaction management
Sponsor expectation management
Vendor and consultant management
Risk management and issue resolution
Financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
Change management
Ability to work cross-functionally to solve problems and implement changes, analyze decisions and actions for their support of the larger area's strategic direction, and work with senior management to resolve complex problems.
Understanding of the SDLC and other life cycles for the deployment of infrastructure, networking, and other non-software projects.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
PMP, PgMP, or equivalent project management certification preferred.
Industry certifications relevant to infrastructure, IT operations, or related fields are advantageous.
