Job Summary
Leads the planning, design, installation, training, support, monitoring, and coordination of storage infrastructure projects. Ensures SAN services operate securely, efficiently, and reliably through proactive management and continuous review.
Responsibilities
Lead SAN planning, design, implementation, and project coordination.
Configure, tune, monitor, secure, and manage SAN hardware and software.
Provide technical support and training for storage infrastructure and services.
Monitor system performance and proactively address operational issues.
Support ongoing improvements to storage management processes and procedures.
Requirements
At least five years of experience with SAN design, implementation, operations, and maintenance.
Bachelor s degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field;five years of related experience may substitute for the degree.
Knowledge of Unix, AIX, Linux, Windows Server, and I/O subsystems for open systems.
Knowledge of network security and enterprise networking technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, NFS, FTP, and Fibre Channel.
