Title: Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Remote
Employment Type: Contract
Compensation:
Pay Range:$50.00-$65.00 Per Hr
Description
The role involves engineering, production operations, automation, and lifecycle management in a remote contract setting.
Key responsibilities include working with virtualization, storage, and data protection technologies to ensure reliable hosting and infrastructure support.
Candidates should have broad technical experience to support troubleshooting and shared projects across various teams.
Key Responsibilities
Engineer and maintain virtualization and compute environments, ensuring availability and compatibility.
Provision virtual machine resources and integrate operating systems with receiving teams.
Administer storage platforms, resolving issues affecting hosted services.
Support enterprise backup platforms, maintaining protection coverage and recovery procedures.
Automate infrastructure tasks using scripting tools and maintain documentation.
Qualifications
Experience implementing and operating enterprise compute, virtualization, and storage services.
Practical knowledge of virtualization platforms, including resource management and troubleshooting.
Experience with enterprise storage administration and performance diagnostics.
Experience with backup operations and recovery testing.
Ability to script infrastructure tasks and maintain documented changes.
