THE WORK:
- You'll perform project cost analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling for major Utility New Gas Generation projects throughout development, construction, commissioning, and project closeout. · You'll interface with internal and external project team members, including project managers, engineering teams, construction teams, contractors, finance, accounting, procurement, and other stakeholders to support effective cost monitoring, analysis, forecasting, and reporting. · You'll build and maintain project cost models, budgets, and forecasts and perform scenario analyses to evaluate potential project outcomes and support management decision-making. · You'll prepare and maintain project cash flow estimates and monthly cost forecasts, including Estimate to Complete (ETC) and Estimate at Completion (EAC), and analyze changes from prior forecasts. · You'll provide day-to-day monitoring and analysis of project commitments, expenditures, accruals, forecasts, budgets, and variances and identify emerging trends that could affect overall project cost performance. · You'll utilize systems and analytical tools such as Cognos, Power BI, Maximo, PowerPlan, Excel, and other project and financial systems to perform analyses, interpret project data, and develop management reports and presentations. · You'll support the development and execution of Cost Quantitative Risk Analyses (QRA), including evaluation of cost uncertainty and contingency requirements. · You'll support the project Change Management process by evaluating the cost implications of proposed and approved changes and ensuring approved changes are appropriately reflected in project budgets and forecasts. · You'll provide Cost Management expertise by identifying process and data gaps, recommending corrective actions, and supporting continuous improvement of project cost engineering standards, tools, processes, and reporting. · You'll support the development and maintenance of project issue and risk registers and participate in the identification, assessment, and management of project cost risks. · You'll create project performance metrics, dashboards, and reports that provide project leadership with clear visibility into budget, actual costs, commitments, forecasts, variances, contingency, risks, and emerging cost trends. · You'll demonstrate a commitment to safety through active participation in safety meetings, safety inspections, and field observations where applicable. · Onsite at client site: The work location for this role is onsite in St. Louis, Missouri, with our clients and project partners to enable delivery and cultivate strong client relationships.
$100,000 - $140,000 a year
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Illinois, Maine, Minnesota, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Ohio, Virginia or Washington as set forth below.
