THE WORK:
- Youll run all aspects of mechanical design development, coordination, and installation for mechanical plant and equipment on data center projects, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to the highest industry standards.
- Youll oversee the design process and development for data center mechanical systems including HVAC, cooling systems, fire suppression, and plumbing.
- Youll provide input on mechanical system designs during project planning and contribute to the preparation of technical documentation and reports.
- Youll collaborate with vendors, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure all mechanical work meets project specifications and quality standards.
- Youll oversee the installation and commissioning of mechanical plant and equipment, including control systems, water treatment systems, HVAC, chillers, CRAC units, cooling towers, and other critical mechanical equipment, ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
- Youll conduct regular schedule and progress reviews, providing updates and insights to client teams and stakeholders.
- Youll oversee the diagnosis and troubleshooting of mechanical system issues during startup and commissioning.
- Youll communicate effectively with other team members to ensure alignment and smooth project execution, and identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in mechanical systems throughout the construction lifecycle.
- Youll oversee the preparation and maintenance of accurate QA/QC/Cx documentation, including test reports, issue logs, and punch lists.
- Youll oversee the provision of detailed turnover packages for operational teams upon project completion.
- Youll ensure all mechanical systems comply with applicable industry codes, standards, and safety regulations (e.g., ASTM, ASME, ASHRAE, AISC).
- Youll stay updated on the latest industry trends, standards, and technologies related to mechanical systems and share insights and knowledge with team members to promote best practices.
- Onsite at client site: The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships

$120,000 - $145,000 a year
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Illinois, Minnesota, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, Ohio or Washington as set forth below.
