Infrastructure & Automation Engineer - 3677896

Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Infrastructure & Automation Engineer position! This is a 12-18 month contract and will be hybrid in Buffalo, NY.

This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services. No C2C or subcontracting arrangements will be considered.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Build and maintain enterprise Linux and Windows server infrastructure including virtualization environments
• Develop automation solutions using PowerShell, Bash, and Python to streamline deployments and configurations
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitLab for automated software delivery
• Manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and ARM templates for consistent environment provisioning
• Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and identity management systems across the enterprise
• Implement and maintain endpoint security, vulnerability management, and system hardening standards
• Monitor system performance using platforms like Kibana, ELK, Dynatrace, and Splunk for proactive issue resolution
• Execute server provisioning, patching, certificate management, and lifecycle operations across the infrastructure
• Configure and manage storage, backup, and disaster recovery solutions to ensure business continuity
• Conduct incident response, root-cause analysis, and performance tuning to optimize system reliability

What You'll Need to Have:

• Strong proficiency in Linux administration (RHEL, Ubuntu, SUSE) and Windows Server fundamentals
• Proven experience with PowerShell, Python, and Bash scripting for automation and infrastructure management
• Solid hands-on experience with Ansible, Automic, and configuration management tools
• Demonstrated ability with CI/CD pipelines, Git version control, GitLab, and Azure DevOps
• Working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and ARM templates
• Experience with vulnerability management and identity access management (Active Directory, LDAP, RBAC)
• Proficiency with monitoring and logging platforms including Kibana, ELK Stack, Dynatrace, and Splunk
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, and firewalls

Pay Range: $75 - $80+/hr
