Role Value Proposition:

  • Build Machine Learning and Generative AI solutions that power marketing campaigns and business engagement initiatives.
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership for the design, development, deployment, and operation of AI/ML solutions in a regulated enterprise environment.
  • Own technical architecture, solution design, and implementation decisions while ensuring scalability, reliability, and compliance with governance and risk standards.
  • Collaborate with architects, data engineers, platform engineers, DevOps, product teams, and business stakeholders to deliver enterprise AI solutions.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of Data Scientists delivering AI and Machine Learning solutions for marketing and business engagement use cases.
  • Own technical decisions, project delivery, implementation timelines, and production stability within the assigned domain.
  • Lead planning and execution of data science initiatives aligned with business goals and objectives.
  • Design, develop, train, optimize, and deploy Machine Learning and Deep Learning models.
  • Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable business insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven solutions.
  • Integrate AI capabilities into business applications through APIs, SDKs, and microservices.
  • Present insights, reports, and recommendations to senior leadership and business stakeholders.
  • Develop statistical models, predictive analytics, and Machine Learning algorithms using Python and Azure cloud technologies.
  • Research and implement emerging AI, Machine Learning, and Data Science technologies.
  • Apply ML-Ops best practices to optimize platform efficiency, scalability, reliability, and cloud-native architectures.
 
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in AI/ML Engineering and/or Data Science.
  • 5+ years of experience in the insurance and/or financial services industry supporting sales, marketing, or customer engagement analytics.
  • Proven experience designing, deploying, and managing production ML and/or Generative AI solutions.
  • Experience building Machine Learning models using Python, preferably in cloud environments.
  • Experience developing APIs, batch processing, and real-time inference solutions.
  • Strong understanding of Responsible AI, including data privacy, bias mitigation, and model monitoring.
  • Strong SQL skills with expertise in Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) and data anomaly detection.
  • Experience with Dominos, Power BI, and/or Azure Machine Learning.
  • Strong knowledge of statistics, mathematics, and predictive modeling.
  • Experience developing AI solutions to improve customer engagement, communications, revenue generation, ad targeting, and business outcomes.
  • Excellent presentation, storytelling, visualization, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
 
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with employee benefits plans.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure and Databricks.
  • Experience designing and implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.
  • Experience integrating external data sources and vector databases with Large Language Models (LLMs).
  • Strong knowledge of prompt engineering, model fine-tuning, and GenAI evaluation techniques.
  • Experience building and optimizing GenAI solutions for document Q&A, summarization, chatbots, and knowledge retrieval.
  • Experience developing scalable, production-ready Generative AI pipelines.
