Overview of the IT Supervisor:
As the IT Supervisor you will play an integral part within our client’s Information Technology Department. This will involve assisting in a variety of IT functions, special projects, and not just leading but mentoring a growing team. Our client is looking for someone to come in and understand the current infrastructure of the organization, where are the strong points, where are the weaknesses, and advising senior leadership on what is in need of most immediate attention. As well as manage and maintain environment.
Responsibilities of IT Supervisor include:
- Responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and management of information technology
- Oversee daily ongoing deployment, configuration, support, administration, and maintenance for IT applications, software, and system issues
- Lead, manage, develop, mentor and grow a team of 2-3
- Oversee IT projects and work with various departments
- Oversee IT inventory and vendor relations
- Develop and maintain IT policies and procedures
Qualifications for the IT Supervisor:
- 6+ years in technology
- 3+ years of leading a team or supervising
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Familiar with Windows Servers, Microsoft platforms
