Agency: Minnesota State
The work youll do is more than just a job.
At the State of Minnesota, employees play a critical role in developing policies, providing essential services, and working to improve the well-being and quality of life for all Minnesotans. Job Summary
The Office of Information Technology advances the missions of Anoka Technical College and Anoka-Ramsey Community College by providing secure, reliable, accessible, and innovative technology services. Through strong partnerships, responsible stewardship, and a service-focused Information Systems model, OIT supports teaching, learning, student success, institutional operations, data-informed decision-making, and continuous improvement across both colleges.
The Service Desk Specialist will be expected to troubleshoot and resolve technology support tickets in-person and remotely as well as ensure technology is properly set up in labs and classrooms. The position requires the use of proper communication techniques in a team format and also in a one-on-one setting with students, faculty, and staff.
Because the position provides hands-on support for classrooms, labs, and campus users, it is primarily an on-site role. Limited telework may be available with supervisor approval when assigned responsibilities can be performed remotely and operational and campus support needs are met.
