Information Technology - Software Developer - Advanced

Keen eye for visual web design and passion for using modern techniques to create visually rich and interactive experience. Responsible for designing, writing and maintaining software applications, including developing written specifications, coding and unit testing.

Job Description:
3 days in office and 2 days remote. Either in Boston, Or Quincy, MA

Responsible for designing, writing and maintaining software applications, including developing written specifications, coding and unit testing. Skills include: expertise in programming languages and experience of 3 to 6 years.

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related degree
2. 5+ years of experience as a software engineer
3. 5+ years’Experience with web development technologies (JavaScript) and JavaScript UI frameworks (ReactJS)
4. Strong skills in Typescript, JSX, Sass/SCSS, Styled components
5. 5+ years of experience building REST APIs using NodeJS/Java stack
6. Practical knowledge of web tooling such as webpack, storybook, NPM, babel, gulp and yarn
7. Strong familiarity with modern web development tools and patterns e.G. Redux, React Hooks, NodeJS
8. Keen eye for visual web design and passion for using modern techniques to create visually rich and interactive experience
9. Passionate about building excellent software with customer focus and empathy
10. Team player with a thirst to learn, sense of urgency, and ownership and thrive in fast-paced environment.
Nice to have
1. Experience working with NoSQL Database
2. Experience with ElectronJS, Finsemble or OpenFin containers
3. Knowledge of container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes
4. Some experience in reactive libraries like RxJS (edited)
