Bachelor s degree. Five years of experience in software development and systems analysis are required. Additional related work experience in software development and systems analysis may substitute for the required college education on a year-for-year basis.

This is a technical position within the Division of Regulatory & Utility Services in the Communications, Information Technology Department (CITD). This area supports highly complex, mission critical applications and vendor packages with various interfaces, both internal and external to the County. This position is responsible for business processes and the impact of modifications to any of the above-mentioned applications. This position entails working cooperatively and professionally with technical staff, customers, and other members of the team.
Experience with the following is preferred:
- Salesforce Flow Builder - Designing, configuring, and optimizing Record, Triggered, Screen, Schedule, and Auto-Launched Flows for automation.
- Declarative Automation - Ability to implement Process Builder, Approval Processes, and Workflow Rules to streamline business processes without custom code.
- Apex & Visualforce - Proficient in Apex triggers, batch processing, and Visualforce pages for extending Flow functionality.
- Lightning Web Components (LWC) - Experience in custom component development for enhanced UI and dynamic interactions within Salesforce.
- Integration & API Development - REST/SOAP APIs, external system integrations, and third-party services (Mulesoft, Postman, etc.).
- SOQL/SOSL & Data Management - Query optimization, bulk data processing, and migration strategies.
- Security & Access Control - Understanding profiles, roles, permission sets, and sharing rules for maintaining proper data access control.
- Development Lifecycle & CI/CD - Experience with Agile methodologies, version control (Git), deployment pipelines, and Salesforce DX.
