Job Description
We are seeking an IT Systems Analyst to provide application and technical support for critical Credit, Working Capital, Asset Finance, and Securitization platforms operating in a 24/7 production environment.
This role will serve as a subject matter expert on application architecture, infrastructure integration, disaster recovery, information security, and production support processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting skills, experience supporting enterprise applications, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced financial services environment.
The successful candidate will support incident, problem, change, and deployment activities while ensuring application stability, security compliance, and operational excellence across the platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L1/L2 production support for Credit, Working Capital, Asset Finance, and Securitization applications.
- Manage incident, problem, and change management activities, including application deployments and releases.
- Support data flows between financing applications and upstream/downstream systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues impacting business operations.
- Partner with Operations teams to address application and infrastructure-related concerns.
- Participate in Disaster Recovery, LivePlay, and Backup Recovery testing activities.
- Coordinate project support tasks and provide status updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure production environments are ready for application and infrastructure changes.
- Maintain systems in accordance with Information Security policies and governance standards.
- Support data protection and cybersecurity initiatives.
- Monitor application performance, capacity, and availability while performing performance tuning when required.
- Document technical processes, workflows, and data flows.
- Participate in Change Control reviews and approval processes.
- Manage CyberArk bypass controls and support remediation efforts.
- Facilitate prioritization discussions with stakeholders to align support and project activities.
- Assist in modernizing and automating legacy processes using AI-driven solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience supporting enterprise applications in a production environment.
- Understanding of Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes.
- Experience with application deployments, releases, and installations.
- Strong scripting experience with at least one of the following:
- Experience supporting Unix/Linux and Windows server environments.
- Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL.
- Working knowledge of Java/J2EE applications.
- Experience using ServiceNow, Jira, ITSM, or similar service management tools.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent documentation and organizational abilities.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Credit and Working Capital business processes.
- Understanding of Asset Finance and Securitization platforms.
- Familiarity with:
- WebSphere
- Tomcat
- IBM MQ
- Infrastructure support concepts
- ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent knowledge.
- Experience with cybersecurity, vulnerability remediation, and server obsolescence projects.
- Knowledge of data protection and security governance frameworks.
- Experience supporting disaster recovery and business continuity testing.
- Exposure to process automation and AI-driven operational improvements.
