Job Summary
We are seeking an Information Systems Technician to provide onsite IT hardware support across retail store locations throughout the San Fernando Valley, Ventura County, and Santa Clarita/Lancaster areas. This role involves traveling between multiple locations, installing and repairing computer and printer hardware, staging/configuring equipment, and providing field service support.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, repair, stage, configure, and test IT hardware and printers.
- Perform bench repairs, refurbishment, and QA of returned equipment.
- Provide onsite hardware support and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Maintain accurate asset tracking, inventory movements, and service documentation.
- Process applicable hardware warranty claims.
- Complete required paperwork and service records accurately.
- Provide professional customer service at retail locations.
- Travel independently between multiple store locations throughout the workday.
Required Qualifications
- Previous IT hardware repair or field service experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Good attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Basic computer skills; Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to travel extensively between assigned store locations.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. regularly and up to 80 lbs. with assistance.
- Flexible schedule; weekends and holidays may be required.
- MVR/background screening required due to driving responsibilities.
Schedule
- Approximately 40 hours per week.
- Field-based role; not a work-from-home position.
- Travel throughout the San Fernando Valley, Ventura County, and Santa Clarita/Lancaster areas.
Interview Process
- 2 interviews: 1 remote video/phone interview and 1 in-person interview.
