Description
Position Summary:
Provide dedicated cybersecurity support for the Department of the Navy Special Access Program (DON SAP) IT program.
Monitor, assess, and maintain security controls to ensure systems strictly comply with Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements and federal regulations.
Collaborate closely with Information Systems Security Engineers (ISSE) and technical teams to integrate robust security measures into enterprise systems.
Core Responsibilities:
Assist in the development and maintenance of RMF documentation, artifacts, and security policies to safeguard all system components.
Partner with engineering teams to assess, integrate, and guide security controls during system design and implementation phases.
Monitor system security posture continuously to evaluate control effectiveness and ensure adherence to applicable standards.
Conduct comprehensive security assessments, audits, and vulnerability scans to identify weaknesses and recommend effective mitigations.
Manage authorization and accreditation processes while ensuring all system architectures and information types are accurately documented.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Clearance: Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
Certifications: DoD 8570.1-M IAT Level II certification (such as Security+ CE or CAP).
Experience: Minimum of 6 years of dedicated cybersecurity work experience (equivalent to or in lieu of a Bachelor's degree).

Preferred Qualifications: ITILv4 Foundation certification, ServiceNow experience, eMASS or Xacta proficiency, and DoD 8570.1-M IAT Level III certification (such as CISSP or CISM).
