    MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Information Systems Security Engineer to join our team working in Crane, IN. This is an onsite position.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Systematically integrates security functional requirements into system acquisition, engineering, and development phases.

    • Harden application interfaces, data repositories, and cloud environments using systems engineering methodologies.

    • Prepare, review, and maintain system security documentation under the Risk Management Framework (RMF), including SSPs, SAPs, SARs, and POA&Ms.

    • Support system certification activities to secure and maintain an Interim Authority to Test (IATT) and Authority to Operate (ATO).

    • Acts as the primary technical security advisor/SME to Government stakeholders, program managers, and system engineering teams.

    • Lead technical walkthroughs, security reviews, and participates in intelligence-community or industry-based technical working groups.

    • Conduct threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and analyzes security logs to proactively harden defenses against adversaries.

    • Provide technical expertise to contain and mitigate real or potential system security incidents. Design and architect robust end-to-end security solutions for networks, databases, and enterprise systems.

    • Incorporate Zero Trust principles, boundary protection, firewalls, and cryptographic controls to safeguard critical warfighting infrastructure.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree in Information Security, Systems Engineering or a related technical discipline or, a High School Diploma and 4+ additional years of experience as described above in lieu of degree

    • 10+ years of progressive experience in system engineering, information assurance, or cybersecurity

    • Must possess a SecurityX (previously known as CASP+) or CISSP certification

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field

    Clearance Requirements:

    • U.S. Citizenship required and a current or active Secret clearance or ability to obtain an Interim Secret clearance prior to starting.

    Physical Requirements:

    • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
