Role Overview Our client, a leading organization in the technology and solutions sector, is seeking an experienced Information Systems Architect to design, evaluate, and govern complex enterprise system architectures, ensuring seamless integration, high security, and strong alignment with strategic business goals.
Responsibilities
- Design and oversee comprehensive information systems architectures supporting large-scale enterprise operations.
- Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, and business stakeholders to translate strategic requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Evaluate proposed software, hardware, and cloud solutions for architectural alignment, performance, and risk.
- Establish architectural standards, blueprints, and best practices across the technology organization.
- Review technical designs and provide actionable guidance to development and implementation teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify architectural bottlenecks or legacy system limitations and recommend modernizing strategies.
- Act as a technical escalation point and advisor for complex integration and infrastructure challenges.
- Document architectural decisions, system topologies, and data flows to ensure transparency and traceability.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience designing and deploying enterprise information systems in large-scale environments
- Proven expertise in cloud and on-premises infrastructure integration, data architecture, and enterprise software design
- Strong working knowledge of security controls, networking fundamentals, and identity management frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to diverse stakeholder groups
- Experience participating in technical governance forums or architecture review boards
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant enterprise architecture certifications (e.g., TOGAF, SABSA)
- Cloud architecture certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert)
- Experience leading digital transformation or legacy cloud migration initiatives
