JOB SUMMARY:Maintains Unified Police Department Records; processing all of the Records Management Incident Reports, to include all arrest bookings that occur at the Adult Detention Center. Follow Oral and Written Instruction Demonstrate Public Relations Skills Communicate effectively with various social, economic, and ethnic backgrounds.

JOB SUMMARY:Maintains Unified Police Department Records; processing all of the Records Management Incident Reports, to include all arrest bookings that occur at the Adult Detention Center. Performs clerical support duties on a rotating basis, in ten different areas within the Technical Services Division. Provide customer service to the public, as well as private and law enforcement agencies. Performs other duties as required by, the office.EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:Must have a High Diploma or GED6 months experience preferred working in a clerical positionKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSA)Knowledge of: General office procedures Business English Spelling, Grammar and Punctuation Simple Math (addition and subtraction) Professional Telephone EtiquetteSkills and Abilities to: Perform general office procedures Operate computers and Ability to Access Programs Standard Office Machines: e.g., photocopier, fax machines, scanner, paper shredder, calculator). Follow Oral and Written Instruction Demonstrate Public Relations Skills Communicate effectively with various social, economic, and ethnic backgrounds. Communicate effectively with supervisory staff and co-workers. Work well with all levels of personnel, display tact. Work independently Maintain confidentiality Perform effectively under pressure.
