Job Title: Information Security Specialist
Location: Charlotte, NC
Salary Range: $60 to 70/hr W2
Introduction
We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team in the role of Information Security Specialist. This position involves implementing and supporting solutions and technologies for application security, focusing on static code analysis and application security testing using industry-leading tools.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 7 years of experience in Application Security SAST, SCA, DAST
- 3 years of experience in Vulnerability triage
- 3 years of experience in Java
- 5 years of experience in DevOps, CI/CD
- 2 years of experience in AI Security
- Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Docker Container, HELM charts & cloud management
- Experience triaging application security vulnerabilities, assessing severity level, false positive, and establishing risk associated with the vulnerability based on the environment
- Experience working with the development team on vulnerability remediation and establishing best practices for developer efficiency and security
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- AI-based LLM scanning
- Vulnerability detection using SAST & SCA
- Vulnerability triage and false positive detection
- Threat assessment
- Cloud, container, and process automation
- Support and participate in incident response and technical investigations as needed
- Ensure adherence to compliance regulations and policies
