Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a n Information Security Analyst for a CONTRACT assignment with one of our premier banking clients in Cincinnati, OH – hybrid schedule
Responsibilities:
- Plan, implement, and maintain security measures to protect computer systems, networks, and sensitive data.
- Monitor and analyze security threats, vulnerabilities, and emerging cybersecurity risks.
- Research and evaluate new technologies to help prevent data loss and service disruptions.
- Develop, test, and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Conduct risk assessments and security testing of systems and applications.
- Implement and support security controls, including firewalls, encryption, and identity management solutions.
- Recommend security improvements, tools, and best practices to strengthen the organization's security posture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with security standards and policies.
- Provide security awareness training and guidance to employees.
Required Skills:- Experience with Identity Platforms and Information Security technologies.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and security best practices.
- Experience performing risk assessments, vulnerability analysis, and security testing.
- Knowledge of firewalls, encryption technologies, and access management controls.
- Experience with disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:- Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions.
- Knowledge of cloud security concepts and technologies.
- Experience with security monitoring, incident response, and threat detection tools.
- Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Security+, or similar.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance and security frameworks.
- Experience developing and delivering security awareness training programs.
