The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Information Scientist III for a prominent client of ours. This position is located at Hybrid (Mettawa, IL Preferred; Florham Park, NJ or Irvine, CA). Details for the position are as follows:

Location: Hybrid (Mettawa, IL Preferred; Florham Park, NJ or Irvine, CA)
Pay Rate: $48–$51/hr
Duration: 6 Months (High Possibility of Extension)

Job Description

Seeking an Information Scientist III to provide advanced medical information support for assigned therapeutic areas. This role is responsible for developing scientifically accurate medical content, responding to complex medical inquiries, evaluating clinical evidence, and supporting global medical information operations while ensuring compliance with regulatory and corporate standards.

  • Develop, maintain, and update Global Content (GC) documents for medical information inquiries
  • Respond to complex medical inquiries from healthcare professionals, affiliates, and medical information call centers
  • Review, summarize, and interpret scientific literature, clinical guidelines, and internal data
  • Develop and maintain Data on File documents and medical response content
  • Evaluate clinical evidence, product labeling, disease state information, and treatment guidelines
  • Review and approve medical information content to ensure scientific accuracy and regulatory compliance
  • Identify and communicate medical information insights from inquiry trends
  • Collaborate with global affiliates, cross-functional teams, and outsourced medical information vendors
  • Support medical information operations across multiple therapeutic areas
  • Maintain documentation within medical information systems and repositories
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings supporting global medical information initiatives

Education

  • Bachelor's degree and graduation from an accredited Nursing, Physician Assistant (PA), Pharmacy, Health Sciences, PharmD, PhD, MD, or DO program
  • Advanced degree preferred
