    The Opportunity

Two exciting part-time opportunities are available for Information and Services Officers with Monash University Accommodation. You don’t need previous experience in student accommodation - we’re looking for people who genuinely enjoy helping others. Whether you’ve worked in hospitality, retail, reception, customer service or administration, this is an opportunity to build your skills while supporting students at one of Australia’s leading universities.

As an Information and Services Officer, you’ll provide information and support to prospective and current students, helping them navigate accommodation options and access the services they need. You’ll work across a diverse range of activities, including applications, offers, allocations and bookings, responding to enquiries, supporting events and maintaining accurate records and information. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, connecting with people and making a positive difference to the student experience.

    About You

You’ll have experience in a customer-focused administrative or service environment, with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and adapt to changing requirements. You’ll bring sound analytical and problem-solving skills, a high level of attention to detail and confidence working with data, systems and financial information.

You’ll be a confident and clear communicator who can provide high-quality advice and support to a diverse range of students, staff and external customers, including in response to complex enquiries. You’ll work effectively both independently and as part of a team, using initiative and sound judgement to achieve positive outcomes. Experience working with university systems such as SAP or Callista, along with Microsoft Office, G-Suite or equivalent systems, would be highly advantageous.
