Infor Presales / Senior Solution Consultant

An Infor Presales Consultant partners with sales teams to design, position, and demonstrate industry-specific ERP solutions across manufacturing and distribution sectors, leveraging the full Infor product suite.

 Key Responsibilities
1. Solution Consulting & Discovery
  • Engage clients to gather business, functional, and technical requirements
  • Analyze current systems and identify gaps
  • Recommend best-fit solutions across:
  • M3 → Process manufacturing, distribution
  • LN → Complex/discrete manufacturing
  • CSI (SyteLine) → SMB manufacturing
  • XA → Legacy IBM i manufacturing clients
  • Edge → AI-driven insights and automation
2. Product Demonstrations & Storytelling
  • Deliver tailored, industry-specific demos
  • Build compelling business scenarios (order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, plan-to-produce)
  • Highlight integrations across the Infor ecosystem
3. Proposal & RFP Management
  • Lead responses for RFPs / RFIs / RFQs
  • Prepare:
    • Solution architecture diagrams
    • Scope and effort estimations
    • Bill of materials (BOM) and licensing inputs
  • Collaborate with sales for pricing and positioning
4. Technical & Functional Expertise
  • Demonstrate deep understanding of:
  • ERP modules: Finance, SCM, Manufacturing, Procurement
  • Infor technology stack:
    • Infor OS
    • Infor ION
    • Infor Birst
    Explain:
  • Cloud vs on-prem deployments
  • Integration architecture
  • Data migration strategies
5. Industry Alignment
  • Support industries such as:
    • Industrial Manufacturing
    • Automotive & Aerospace
    • Food & Beverage
    • Distribution & Logistics
  • Position appropriate product based on complexity and scale
6. Sales Enablement & Client Engagement
  • Support account executives throughout the sales lifecycle
Conduct:
  • Workshops
  • Discovery sessions
  • Executive briefings
  • Act as a trusted advisor to business and IT stakeholders 
7. Competitive Differentiation
  • Position Infor against:
    • SAP

Functional Expertise
Strong knowledge of:
  • Manufacturing processes (MRP, BOM, APS, shop floor control)

ERP presales / consulting experience

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / IT / Business
  • 3–12 years of experience in ERP (Infor preferred)
  • Hands-on exposure to one or more:
  • M3 / LN / CSI (SyteLine) / XA
  • Certifications in Infor products (added advantage)
