Education & Experience:
At least 3 years of hospital experience preferred
Working knowledge of performance improvement tools, data abstraction, analysis and reporting preferred.
Licenses, Certifications & Training:
Certification in Infection Prevention and Control (CIC) or from the Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology (CBIC) required within the first 3 years of employment (preferred upon hire)..
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Behaviors: -
Demonstrated computer literacy, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint). -
Ability to become proficient and independent with facility data collection software. -
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. -
Strong independent thinking and problem-solving abilities.
High degree of accuracy and factual dependability.
Working knowledge of Performance Improvement Tools and data abstraction, analysis, and reporting.
