Introduction:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Infant Teacher to join our team and provide high-quality care and education to infants in our child care center. The Infant Teacher will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for infants, planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, and communicating with parents about their child's development and progress. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills and be able to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff. This position is Monday-Friday 12pm-5pm with the potential for full time hours in the next 30-90 days if the applicant is willing.
Responsibilities:
Create a nurturing and stimulating environment for infants, including providing emotional and physical support
Implement age-appropriate activities to promote the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development of infants
Communicate with parents about their child's day in our app
Follow all policies and procedures related to the care and education of infants, including adhering to safety protocols and maintaining accurate records
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure continuity of care and education
Closing the building as needed
Qualifications:
Ability to multitask
Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff
Knowledge or willing to learn about child development and age-appropriate activities for infants
