Infant & Toddler Lead Teacher
The Lead Teacher provides a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for children birth to 2½ years old.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in ECE, Child Development, or related field.
- 2 years of infant/toddler experience.
- Knowledge of child development and DAP.
- CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain.
- Must meet licensing and background check requirements.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities.
- Supervise children and classroom staff at all times.
- Support children's development and maintain required documentation.
- Communicate with families and staff professionally.
- Maintain a clean, safe classroom.
- Follow all licensing, health, safety, and program requirements.
- Attend required meetings and training.
Physical Requirements
- Lift children up to 40 pounds and participate in daily classroom activities.
Schedule
- Full-time with reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Bilingual skills preferred.
