About the Role:
Little Academy of Humble is looking for a warm, nurturing Infant Teacher to join their dedicated childcare team in Humble, TX! This is a wonderful opportunity to make a meaningful impact during the most formative stage of a child's life. Responsibilities:
  • Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for infants in a licensed childcare setting
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that support infant cognitive, social, and physical development
  • Monitor and document each infant's daily activities, including feeding, sleeping, and diapering schedules
  • Communicate regularly and openly with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and daily routine
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment in compliance with state childcare regulations
  • Build trusting relationships with infants through consistent, responsive caregiving
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support overall classroom and program goals
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required; coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred
  • Prior experience working with infants in a licensed childcare or early learning environment preferred
  • Knowledge of infant developmental milestones and age-appropriate caregiving practices
  • Must meet Texas childcare licensing requirements, including background check clearance
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain upon hire
  • Patient, compassionate, and reliable with a genuine love for working with babies
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
