Location: The Learning Experience - East Brunswick, NJ
Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday

The Learning Experience - East Brunswick is hiring a caring, dependable Infant Teacher to join our early childhood education team!
We're looking for someone who enjoys providing attentive, nurturing care while helping infants explore their surroundings, develop new skills, and feel safe and supported throughout the day.
From tummy time and sensory play to first sounds and movements, you'll play an important role in each child's earliest learning experiences.
What You'll Do
- Provide attentive, responsive care in a safe and nurturing Infant classroom
- Follow individualized feeding, diapering, sleep, and daily care routines
- Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum through age-appropriate activities
- Engage infants through sensory play, music, movement, and early language experiences
- Support physical, cognitive, language, and social-emotional development
- Follow safe sleep, sanitation, health, and safety procedures
- Observe developmental milestones and maintain classroom documentation
- Build trusting relationships and communicate regularly with families
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and center leadership
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom
- Follow New Jersey childcare licensing requirements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous professional childcare, daycare, or early childhood education experience preferred
- Infant classroom experience strongly preferred
- CDA, Early Childhood Education coursework, or related credentials are a plus
- Understanding of infant development and responsive caregiving
- Patient, nurturing, dependable, and comfortable working as part of a team
- Must meet applicable New Jersey childcare licensing requirements
