Infant Lead Teacher- Early Childhood Education

The Learning Experience- Manassas City, VA

Pay: $16-$18 per hour, based on experience

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday

The Learning Experience- Manassas City is seeking an experienced and nurturing Infant Lead Teacher to create a safe, loving, and engaging classroom for our youngest learners.

You'll take an active leadership role in the Infant classroom while providing responsive care, supporting developmental milestones, and creating meaningful early learning experiences throughout each child's day.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily Infant classroom routines and learning experiences
• Provide responsive and individualized care
• Support feeding, diapering, sleep, tummy time, and developmental routines
• Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum
• Engage infants through sensory exploration, language, music, movement, and play
• Observe and document children's development and milestones
• Guide and collaborate with classroom team members
• Build trusting relationships and communicate regularly with families
• Maintain a clean, safe, nurturing, and organized classroom
• Follow Virginia licensing and center requirements

Qualifications

• Previous professional childcare or early childhood classroom experience required
• Professional Infant classroom experience strongly preferred
• Lead Teacher or classroom leadership experience preferred
• CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework preferred, but not required
• Strong understanding of infant care and development
• Patient, nurturing, dependable, and collaborative
• Must meet Virginia licensing requirements for the position
