Infant Lead Teacher - EEC Certified

Pay: $23-$25 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday
The Learning Experience - Andover is seeking a nurturing and experienced Infant Lead Teacher to create a warm, responsive classroom where our youngest learners feel safe, loved, and supported throughout every stage of their early development.
We're looking for an educator who understands that infant teaching is about much more than daily care. You'll create meaningful experiences through language, sensory exploration, movement, music, and individualized interactions while building strong relationships with families.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily Infant classroom routines and learning experiences
- Provide responsive, individualized care based on each child's needs
- Support feeding, diapering, sleep, tummy time, and developmental routines
- Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum
- Create age-appropriate sensory, language, music, and movement experiences
- Observe and document children's development
- Guide and collaborate with Assistant Teachers
- Maintain a safe, nurturing, clean, and organized classroom
- Build trusting relationships and communicate regularly with families
- Maintain compliance with Massachusetts EEC requirements
Qualifications
- Must meet Massachusetts EEC requirements to serve as an Infant-Toddler Lead Teacher
- Professional infant or toddler classroom experience strongly preferred
- Lead Teacher or classroom leadership experience preferred
- Strong understanding of infant development and responsive caregiving
- Dependable, nurturing, patient, and collaborative
