Infant Lead Teacher - Early Childhood Education
The Learning Experience - South Lyon Area, MI
Pay: $18-$21 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday
The Learning Experience is looking for an experienced Infant Lead Teacher who loves helping babies learn, grow, and reach their earliest milestones.
We are recruiting for Infant classroom leadership opportunities at our South Lyon-area childcare centers. If you're a nurturing early childhood educator who understands the importance of responsive care, meaningful interactions, and individualized routines, we'd love to meet you.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a safe, nurturing, and engaging Infant classroom
- Provide individualized feeding, diapering, sleep, and daily care routines
- Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum
- Create sensory, movement, language, and early learning experiences
- Support physical, cognitive, and social-emotional development
- Follow safe sleep, sanitation, health, and safety procedures
- Observe developmental milestones and maintain classroom documentation
- Build trusting relationships and communicate regularly with families
- Guide and collaborate with Assistant Teachers
- Maintain Michigan childcare licensing standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous professional childcare or early childhood classroom experience required
- Infant classroom experience strongly preferred
- CDA, Early Childhood Education coursework, degree, or other qualifying credential preferred
- Must meet Michigan requirements to serve as a Lead Caregiver
- Nurturing, dependable, patient, and team-oriented
