About the Role:Kiddie Academy of Mountains Edge is looking for a warm, nurturing, and passionate Infant Assistant Teacher to join our growing team in Las Vegas, NV! This is a wonderful opportunity to make a meaningful impact during the most formative stage of a child's life while working in a supportive and caring environment.
Responsibilities:- Assist in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for infants
- Support lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate curriculum and developmental activities
- Attend to infants' daily needs including feeding, diapering, and soothing
- Observe and document infant milestones and communicate progress to parents and staff
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
- Build trusting relationships with families through open and consistent communication
- Follow all licensing regulations, health, and safety protocols
Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent required; early childhood education coursework preferred
- Previous experience working with infants or toddlers in a childcare setting is a plus
- Knowledge of infant development and age-appropriate practices
- Current or ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification
- Ability to pass a background check per Nevada childcare licensing requirements
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a genuine love for working with young children
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
