Picture a workday that starts at a customer’s industrial water facility. You review your planned maintenance list, check your calibrated tools, and walk the process line. A blower needs inspection, a valve is due for preventive service, and a process pump is trending off spec. By mid-morning, you’re running analytical tests and tuning instrumentation. What You’ll Do

    • Preventive Maintenance & Repair: Service and troubleshoot valves, blowers, ejectors, air compressors, process pumps, and related instrumentation across customer sites.
    • Water Chemistry & Operations: Use analytical instrumentation and calibrated tools; safely handle aggressive chemicals (acids and bases) in accordance with stringent environmental, health, and safety protocols.
    • Documentation & Partnering: Track tasks, complete detailed site paperwork and technical summaries, maintain spreadsheets and word processing files, and collaborate with project teams and client personnel.

    Skills & Qualifications

    • Technical: Hands-on mechanical and basic electrical troubleshooting; proficiency with standard hand tools and specialized equipment.
    • Water Testing Knowledge: Conduct testing including turbidity, chlorine, CO2, and SDI; general understanding of water chemistry principles.
    • Compliance & Quality: Follow all EHS policies and on-site safety rules; ensure adherence to volume and quality specifications.
    • Professional Competencies: Attention to detail, strong communication and customer service, sound problem-solving, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and self-motivation.
    • Computer & Administrative: Create and manage spreadsheets; produce comprehensive technical summaries; basic proficiency with word processing, databases, and the Google platform.
    • Licenses & Equipment: Ability to operate and maintain a company vehicle; forklift experience is a plus.
    • Adaptability: Comfortable with fluctuating schedules based on business needs; able to learn procedures within a reasonable timeframe.

    Work Environment & Physical Demands

    • Industrial Setting: Primarily outdoors around machinery, electrical panels, and chemical processes.
    • Physical Agility: Frequent reaching (above/below shoulder height), standing, kneeling, crouching or crawling; ability to navigate tight spaces and ladders.
    • Lifting: Regularly lift up to 30 lbs; frequently lift up to 50 lbs.

    Why This Role Matters

Your work keeps critical water treatment systems running safely and efficiently. If you take pride in precise maintenance, careful documentation, and safe chemical handling, you’ll thrive in this temporary field assignment.
