A Day in the Life
By 6:00 AM, you’re walking the floor, reviewing overnight logs and prioritizing corrective maintenance. A trim press is faulting—you diagnose, isolate an electrical issue, replace a component, and validate the fix. Next, you fine-tune VFD parameters on an extruder to stabilize line speed. Midday, you document completed work, then collaborate with production to schedule a brief downtime to upgrade sensors on a former. Before shift end, you tidy your area, verify lockout/tagout records, and prep parts for a planned PM on a crystallizer.
