TITLE: Industrial Technician
POSITION OBJECTIVE: The Industrial Technician is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery and mechanical equipment. This will include installing new equipment, performing regular services and maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting, equipment breakdowns. Your duties will involve ensuring that production processes run efficiently and safety, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Equipment Maintenance and Calibration:
Conduct repairs and replacements of faulty components or parts to restore machinery to optimal working condition
Calibrate equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability in production processes.
Implement and perform preventative maintenance schedules to prevent breakdowns and prolong the lifespan of machinery
Troubleshooting:
Identify and diagnose issues with machinery and equipment to restore machinery to optimal working conditions
Diagnose malfunctions and determine the best adjustments or repairs
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance
Documenting completed work and conditions found, utilizing maintenance computer software as necessary
Safety Compliance:
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and others.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with other members of the maintenance team as well as production and engineering personnel, to address maintenance issues and improve equipment performance
Interacting regularly with external vendors, peers, and management to pursue continuous improvement of facility operations and promote a teamwork focused environment.
Provide training and guidance to operators and other staff on proper equipment usage and maintenance procedures
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains in equipment operation and maintenance practices
