Location: Denton, TX, US | Employment: Full Time, Non-Union

Picture your day starting on the shop floor at Peerless Separation & Filtration, part of CECO Environmental’s global family. You review the morning build plan for a filtration assembly, confirm dimensions, and lay out components with precise fit-up. By mid-morning, you’re running GMAW on structural pieces, switching to FCAW for heavier joints, and using GTAW for detail work. Each pass meets engineering documentation and the company’s high bar for quality and safety. After lunch, you grind, re-check alignments, and collaborate with teammates to resolve a drawing discrepancy—flagging a substandard component to your lead. You wrap up by documenting progress, updating schedules, and cleaning your work area—ready for tomorrow’s build.

What You’ll Do

• Complete initial and ongoing Peerless training, including lean manufacturing, work methods, safety, and documentation practices.
• Follow engineering drawings and specifications to lay out, position, align, and fit components.
• Perform burning, fitting, welding, and grinding on assemblies across multiple product lines.
• Meet or exceed internal quality metrics; flag drawings, materials, or conditions that don’t meet standards and escalate to your supervisor/lead.
• Use required PPE at all times (safety glasses, gloves, steel-toed boots) and follow OSHA and company safety rules—aiming for zero incidents.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
• Track time, key milestones, and deadlines; adhere to daily schedules.
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.

What You Bring

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience/training.
• Solid math aptitude for accurate measuring, layout, and assembly.
• Ability to read/interpret fabrication drawings, diagrams, sketches, work orders, and weld symbols.

Bonus Skills

• Hands-on familiarity with GMAW, FCAW, and GTAW processes.
