    What You Bring (requirements)

    • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Production Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
    • Strong experience improving production systems in high complexity industrial supplier manufacturing environments.
    • Deep systems thinking grounded in flow, capacity, constraints, variability, and stability.
    • Proven ability to diagnose and improve real production systems using data, analytics, and emerging digital/AI based tools to support decisions and performance discussions, not just track or report outcomes.
    • Experience translating hands-on work into repeatable methods (standard work, routines, templates, playbooks) to enable others via coaching and training.
    • Ability to influence across functions without direct authority; comfortable operating in ambiguous, cross-functional environments and willing to travel internationally up to 30%. (travel varies by supplier priorities and project phase)

    You will be part of the global Supplier Development function within Strategic Procurement at Siemens Energy, responsible for strengthening supplier capability as a strategic lever for business performance and long-term competitiveness. The team operates globally, partnering closely with Procurement, Engineering, Quality, and Operations. It combines targeted execution on priority supplier topics with a strong focus on enabling the broader organization through structured methods and approaches.
