Industrial Sewer

Nesco Resource is currently sourcing for Industrial Sewers for an Automotive Packaging company in Shelby Township, MI. This is a contractor to hire opportunity.

Shift: 6am to 2:30pm Monday through Friday (overtime based upon production needs)

Position Overview:
Sewers or Seamstresses are required to be able to operate an industrial single needle sewing machine at a minimum, a double needle as well is preferred.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Daily responsibilities include sewing automotive transportation bags ranging anywhere from 3 lbs to 30 lbs. Construction of bags include Velcro, and webbing attachment by means of sewing. As well as shelf attachment or assembly work for intermediate or advanced sewers.

Jobs will vary, as well as building custom production orders. The geometry of the bags is constantly different based on the size and shape of the we are building the returnable packaging for.
