Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Industrial Sewer I to join our team. In this role, you will operate industrial sewing equipment to assemble PVC and other synthetic materials into high-quality products.
You’ll work with materials of varying thickness and weight, primarily focusing on lighter, smaller components that may occasionally require careful handling and maneuvering. Using your precision and attention to detail, you will help create durable bellows used as protective covers for machinery.

Key Responsibilities
- Review job cards and follow product specifications
- Operate sewing equipment to produce accurate, high-quality parts
- Sew, test, and make small adjustments as needed
- Pitch in on other tasks as assigned by your Team Lead or Supervisor
What You’ll Do
- Work safely and respectfully as part of a team
- Read basic drawings, instructions, and layouts to create custom products
- Sew components using different materials, machines, and tools
- Perform visual checks throughout the process to catch and correct issues early
- Report any concerns or product discrepancies
- Measure and verify sizing, layouts, and added components (like stiffeners and zippers)
- Help with final inspection, counting, and quality checks
Team & Work Environment
- Collaborate with team members and leadership to meet production goals
- Stay flexible—assist in different areas as needed to support the team
- Help the team meet targets for safety, quality, and productivity
Safety & Standards
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear required protective equipment
- Keep your workspace and tools clean and in good working condition
- Follow company policies, procedures, and best practices
- Take on additional duties as needed
Additional Information:
Essential - High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Ability to read a ruler and tape measure.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic math skills.
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
Preferred - Experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.
