Position Overview:
Clean and sanitize production equipment, machinery, floors, walls, and other facility areas.
Follow established sanitation procedures and food safety or quality standards as applicable.
Use cleaning chemicals, sanitation equipment, and tools safely and correctly.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment while following company safety guidelines.
Complete sanitation checklists and report maintenance concerns or safety hazards to supervisors.
Characteristics of a Successful Candidate:
Previous industrial, manufacturing, janitorial, or sanitation experience preferred but not required.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and safety procedures.
Comfortable working around cleaning chemicals and wearing required personal protective equipment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
