Industrial Safety Manager

Pro Resources is seeking an experienced Industrial Safety Manager for a direct hire opportunity with a long-standing heavy manufacturing company in Attica, IN. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on safety leader who thrives in an industrial environment and enjoys building a strong culture of workplace safety.

Schedule
- 1st Shift
- Flexible hours, typically between 6:30 AM and 4:00 PM
- Occasional flexibility may be required based on operational needs
Compensation & Benefits
- $80,000 - $90,000 annual salary (based on experience)

What You'll Do
- Lead all facility safety programs and initiatives.
- Develop, implement, and maintain workplace safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and other applicable federal, state, and local safety regulations.
- Conduct safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
- Develop and deliver employee and supervisor safety training programs.
- Partner with department leaders to proactively identify and mitigate workplace hazards.
- Maintain safety records, documentation, and compliance reporting.
- Monitor regulatory changes and implement updates as needed.
- Assist with emergency preparedness and response planning.
- Promote a positive and proactive safety culture throughout the organization.
- Supervise and mentor members of the Safety Department.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Safety Management, Occupational Health & Safety, Safety Engineering, or a related field required.
- Minimum of four years of management experience in industrial safety and employee training.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards.
- Experience with 5S, 5 Why (5Y), and VPP certification processes preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong ability to work collaboratively with employees and leadership at all levels of the organization.
Work Environment
This position is based in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment. Candidates must be comfortable working in and around a foundry setting, including exposure to:
- High temperatures and varying environmental conditions
- Moving machinery and industrial equipment
- Loud noise levels
- Airborne particles and manufacturing processes
- Physically demanding production areas
The ideal candidate will be comfortable spending time on the production floor and taking a hands-on approach to promoting workplace safety and employee engagement.
